Join Slam Duncan in Spreading Joy, Making a Difference This Christmas

Slam Duncan’s Children’s Charity, a non-profit located in Roanoke, has its roots in the Bikes or Bust event where we provided more than 6,524 bikes to children. Since 1995, our mission has been to ensure that every child in the Salem/Roanoke valley receives gifts during the holiday season.

Our beginning

6524 New Bikes

Slam Duncan began helping children back in 1995, with his nationally, award-winning Bikes-or-Bust promotion, before forming his own full time charity in 2000.

22 Years

Community Focus

After 4 years of Bikes or Bust, and raising 6,524 bikes for kids at Christmas, in 2000 we created Slam Duncan’s Childrens Charities (501(c) 3) to help underprivileged kids not only at Christmas but throughout the year with our marquee event being Angels Helping Angels.

100%

support driven

Thanks to the community’s support each year, we can assist deserving families. We appreciate your help & dedication. In 22 years of our Angels Helping Angels event the community has raised over 10,000 gifts.
