After having several radio/broadcast jobs,  Slam "landed" at J-93.5 Hot Country, serving the Roanoke (Va) Valley market.

It was here  that Slam arrived at the determination that every child, no matter his/her economic circumstances, should experience the thrill of having a 'brand new' bicycle at least once in a lifetime.  To that end, Slam organized a bicycle drive with the goal of 93 bikes for 93 kids.  That first drive raised 620 bicycles, proving the generosity of the individuals and businesses of the valley.  Slam continued "Bikes or Bust" for the next 3 years,  evolving into "Slam" Duncan's Children's Charity" in 1999, which continues to provide activities, trips/outings for the deserving.  To read about "Bikes or Bust" click on the Grand Slams link at the bottom of this page.

Slam has moved on to the Nashville,Tn. radio market where he continues in broadcasting on several venues. Tune in to Slam Duncan and hear his unique brand of on air humor.

Tune in to Slam Duncan at XM 171  on the Sundays, 7am- 12noon ET  on the Dave Nemo Show.   You can listen to Slam's Granny during the show from 10-11am EST.

Listen to Slam at  The Big 98 WSIX, M-F from 7pm-midnight in the Nashville, Tn., area

Amy Dalley stops by the BIG 98 WSIX to visit with Slam Duncan and to see if she might "change" him.
Slam, who had been counting down the days on-air until Amy's visit, had female listeners suggest the perfect cologne to impress Amy with ... so, not only did Amy perform her new song "Men Don't Change," she also agreed to "scratch & sniff" Slam in an effort to guess the cologne, thus winning 98.00 for a lucky listener.
