2005 Angels helping Angels
We held our 2005 "Angels helping Angels" event on Monday, Dec. 12th,
2005
at the Wal Mart on Rt. 220 in Roanoke, Va.

Some of the "Angels" that helped us pick out 91 gifts for
the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program
 |
|
This year's "Angels Helping Angels" was so big that the 91
gifts for the Salvation Army literally reached from the floor to the CEILING!!

On Monday, December 13, 2004 at Wal Mart, the kids each got to choose an angel off the tree and then go out into the store
and shop for that child. Each angel is for a boy or girl and has the
sizes and things that child would like to receive. Our Angels then brought the packages back
to us and we did the wrapping.
We felt like this would be a way for the kids to help and at the same
time feel the joy of helping another child.

THANKS to ALL the TRUCKERS for their donations!

Our "Angels Helping Angels" Christmas program raised 70 individual gifts for
32 angels picked off the Angel Tree. The angels were provided to us by the
Salvation Army of the Roanoke Valley.
THANKS again to those of you, who through your donations to Slam Duncan's
Children's Charity, made all this possible.
YOU too are
ANGELS!!
